I am excited to share an important initiative in our journey towards fostering gender equality within our organization.
As we all know, we are operating in an industry where women are still a minority. This fact may appear to some of our feminine employees as an additional challenge to grow within the company and reach management positions. I want all our employees, independent of their gender, to know and believe that they can achieve their career goals like anybody else. I am proud to announce our decision to introduce a transformative program company-wide in such a direction.
Starting this year, we are embarking on a new endeavor: the trial implementation of an initiative known as “The A Effect.” This distinguished professional development program is strategically designed to empower women to better demonstrate their business ambitions. I am pleased to share that four exceptional women have been selected to participate in this initial trial year: Christine Hauben, Katarzyna Kuczmierczyk, Saadia Nousir, and Sue Datthyn.
Additionally, those four women will assume the responsibility of forming a dedicated committee to champion and nurture women-focused initiatives across our organization. We are starting with a small but strong group of employees. We will learn through that experience and then be able to welcome additional members once the process becomes part of our human resources practices.
I sincerely want to extend my gratitude to each one of you for your dedicated efforts and contribution to the company. I am asking our management teams throughout the company to support this initiative. As servant leaders, we must create an environment where all our employees achieve the company objectives as well as their professional and personal goals while working for Nitrex. Leading a company alongside exceptional individuals like yourselves fills me with a deep sense of pride.
