QUICK QUENCH VACUUM

The 3Q™ series of quick quench vacuum furnaces are available with 2-bar, 6-bar, and 10-bar cooling capabilities. This horizontal double-chamber furnace also includes a quench pressure range between 2-20 bar absolute.

Gas quenching in a separate cooling chamber ensures superior metallurgical results. This process also eliminates deformation typically associated with workloads moving in a conventional two-chamber vacuum furnace. Additionally, with the hot zone away from the high-velocity gas cooling nozzles, there is less wear and tear on the hot zone which translates to lower maintenance costs and longer service life.

The 3Q™ series features a larger gas cooling system with a post cooler heat exchanger that provides a lower gas quench temperature than any other gas cooling system in the market.
