VACUUM HEAT-TREATING SYSTEMS
The HVF delivers superior performance for sintering applications requiring close dimensional tolerances.
Sintering is the process of compacting, welding together, and forming a solid mass of material from small particles without melting. In the case of metal sintering, metal powders (powder metallurgy) are used. This process requires the use of protective atmospheres and is typically done at high temperatures. Sintering is also the last stage in metal injection molding (MIM) processing.
BENEFITS
The HVF delivers superior performance for sintering applications requiring close dimensional tolerances.
Suitable for metal injection molded and additive manufactured parts used in a number of industries including automotive, aerospace, defense, energy, industrial, and medical.
Most metals can be sintered.
