UPC PARTNERS WITH EISENHOWER CENTER TO BOOST OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

United Process Controls (UPC) has partnered with the Eisenhower Center, a non-profit organization in Milwaukee, WI that provides work opportunities to people with disabilities.

Over the last few months, UPC has established a work program with the Eisenhower Center for packaging lubricant oil used in Waukee Flo-Meter™ flow meters. During a recent visit to the center, Danny Woodring, Operations Manager of Flow Products at UPC said, “I didn’t see disability. I saw people empowered to push beyond their boundaries; confident people who want to make a living for themselves. They are excited about this opportunity, and it’s an incredibly uplifting experience to be in their presence. Eisenhower Center is a good fit with the goals and values of our partnership, and we look forward to this continued relationship.”

The vocational program at the Eisenhower Center provides education, training and jobs for the disabled through partnerships with local companies. To read more about their services or to become a business partner, please visit www.eisenhowercenter.org.
