United Process Controls is entering the final lap of its event circuit for 2019, putting their innovations in heat treating and atmosphere flow controls on display at the following trade shows: ASM Heat Treat (Detroit, USA), Thermal Technology (Osaka, Japan), and HK HärtereiKongress (Köln, Germany).
The first stop is the ASM Heat Treat in Detroit, MI, the premier event for heat treating professionals in North America. UPC is situated at booth 2000 and technical experts will be available to answer questions about heat treat and flow control solutions as well as to discuss your next retrofit projects. Among the speakers at the conference part of the event, Michael Winter will discuss the benefits and challenges of Industry 4.0 implementation in the heat treating sector. While investment and support of Industry 4.0 has been picking up momentum in our industry, has it truly delivered on its promise? In his presentation, Michael will discuss the different concepts and functions of Industry 4.0, as well as the differences between Industry 4.0 and digitalization. Examples of where Industry 4.0 deployment was put into good use in manufacturing and on the shop floor will supplement his talk. The next stop is Osaka, Japan for the Thermal Technology show, organized every four years by the Japan Industrial Furnace Manufacturers Association (JIFMA). Thermal Technology is the only show in Western Japan which covers the field of industrial furnaces and related technologies. UPC will be situated at stand number E-6 from October 17-18 with Akiyoshi Doda and Nikola Dzepina onsite to answer questions about process control and automation. At the tradeshow stand, UPC will present an overview of its comprehensive portfolio of probes, controllers, analyzers, flow controls, gas generators, control systems and retrofit solutions for various heat treat processes including annealing, carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding, nitrocarburizing, vacuum.
As we move across the globe from west to east, we circle to the middle for the last and final stop in Köln, Germany from October 22-24. HK HärtereiKongress is an annual heat treatment congress and exhibition considered to be the biggest event in heat treatment and materials science in Europe. This year, UPC has relocated to a larger stand space. We’re now stationed at stand C-100/D-117, which is closer to the AWT and IWT stand. Visitors will see familiar faces in new positions and similarly get answers to questions on our control solutions, furnace control upgrades and modernizations for furnaces of all types and brands, as well as our expanded technical support services. In keeping with our time-honoured German tradition, UPC will cap the event with an appreciation dinner in celebration of our valued customers, industry partners, and potential new customers.
