Press Release: U.S. Aerospace Company Orders Vacuum Furnaces | Corona, CA

G-M Enterprises was awarded an order for six Model HVF 701-XXB (2-bar) vacuum furnaces from a U.S.-based company that processes aerospace parts. These furnaces all have a free work area of 48 inches wide x 48 inches high x 72 inches long with a 4,500-pound gross loading capacity. Hot-zone construction is with all-graphite insulation including heavy-duty graphite hearth assembly and graphite heating elements in circular configuration. The furnaces are to be installed at the company’s new facility, which is currently under construction and scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014.

The furnaces, which are capable of achieving better than 10-5 torr range vacuum level, are equipped with a 200-hp cooling blower, 4,000,000 BTU/hour heat exchanger and variable frequency drives (VFD) to provide controlled cooling. They also include the GMVAC1 WONDERWARE-based computer control system, which provides exceptional process flexibility.
