As events attracting bigger crowds start popping up again around the world, Nitrex is pleased to participate in the International Bosphorus Heat Treatment Symposium (formerly MHTSE), from May 11 to 13, 2022, in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Not only is Nitrex a platinum sponsor for the BHTS event, but one of our representative will also make a presentation on the nitriding and nitrocarburizing of metals, two technologies that our company specializes in.
The speaker will be Marcin Stokłosa, from the Poland division of Nitrex Turnkey Systems.

The Nitrex project manager will give his presentation, called “Controlled Nitriding and Nitrocarburizing Technologies: A Viable Replacement to Hard Chrome Plating,” on May 12, from 10:50 am to 11:10 am (session 2).

The international symposium BHTS serves to inform metal heat treatment experts about the new challenges, findings and ideas from the industry. The event aims at sharing the research and development efforts made to advance heat treatment and surface engineering knowledge and technology.

This year, the BHTS program will focus on several topics, which include microstructure conversion; mechanical, physical and tribological properties; advanced heat treating manufacturing processes; vacuum heat treatment; cryogenic treatment and tempering process; bainitizing; induction and low energy magnetic heating; quenchants and quenching technology; heat treating equipment; nanotechnology applications; as well as mathematical modelling and process simulation.
