Nitrex Metal is entering the final lap of its event circuit for 2019

Nitrex Metal is entering the final lap of its event circuit for 2019,putting their innovations in controlled nitriding and nitrocarburizing on display at the ASM Heat Treat (Detroit, USA), Thermal Technology (Osaka, Japan), and HK HärtereiKongress (Köln, Germany) trade shows.

First stop is the ASM Heat Treat in Detroit, MI, the premier event for heat treating professionals in North America. Nitrex is situated at booth 1918 and our expert crew will be onsite to discuss your application needs and technological challenges in nitriding/nitrocarburizing, as well as to talk about Nitrex advances that help support energy/resource efficiency and ensure environmental compliance.

Among the speakers at the conference part of the event, Jack Kalucki will examine the effect of precision control on the outcome of nitriding and ferritic nitrocarburizing cycles. In the framework of process control for nitriding / nitrocarburizing, AMS 2759/10 and 2759/12 standards allow for a tolerance in control parameters. Jack will discuss how these allowable deviations in control parameters influence actual results and how comparative results point to interesting variations in white layer thickness. Other tangible benefits of improved control also include lower gas usage and minimum gas flows, with a direct impact on the cost of quality, cost of treatment, and emissions affecting the environment. Join Jack Kalucki for “How Does Precise Control Affect the Outcome of Nitriding and Ferritic Nitrocarburizing Cycles?” on Tuesday, October 15 at 11am in Room 251A.

Next stop is Osaka, Japan for the Thermal Technology show, organized every four years by the Japan Industrial Furnace Manufacturers Association (JIFMA). Thermal Technology is the only show in Western Japan which covers the field of industrial furnaces and related technologies. Nitrex will be situated at stand number E-6 from October 17-18 with Akiyoshi Doda and Nikola Dzepina available onsite to address nitriding/nitrocarburizing challenges for industry-specific applications. Attendees are also welcome to join Nikola on this talk about the “NITREG® family of potential controlled nitriding / nitrocarburizing technologies according to AMS 2759/10 and 2759/12 Advantages and Applications”.

As we move across the globe from west to east, we circle to the middle for our last and final stop in Köln, Germany from October 22-24. HärtereiKongress is an annual heat treatment congress and exhibition considered the biggest event in heat treatment and materials science in Europe. Nitrex celebrates its return to the HK after a long absence. This year marks our company’s 35th anniversary, and as a leading company in the field of controlled nitriding and nitrocarburizing, we will be presenting distinctive solutions for the German and European markets including license-free nitriding/nitrocarburizing systems as well as nitridingand case hardening technologies for stainless steels. Nitrex is co-exhibiting with United Process Controls at stand C-100/D-117.
