MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

Responsibilities: Project scheduling & supervision, design and development of equipment, manuals and specifications, drawing preparation, installations.

Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems and AUTOCAD. Familiarity with heat treating equipment and processes an asset. PERFECT English. Self-starter/self-motivated, willing to learn at a high pace. Must have broad interests in functioning of machinery or electric/electronic devices; metallurgy; customer relations and interest in manufacturing methods.

Knowledge of following languages a very strong asset: German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese.

Willing to travel extensively and worldwide.

Corporate Quality Assurance Manager
(Position Filled)

Responsibilities: The QA Manager would be responsible for implementation and maintenance of quality systems in accordance with ISO-9000, QS-9000, AS-9000, NADCAP and future extensions and variations thereof, at several locations in Canada and USA.

Qualifications and requirements: The candidate must posses the following minimum attributes: working knowledge of quality standards, ability to manage his/her own work objectives, verbal and written communication skills, some knowledge and experience with manufacturing methods and equipment. The candidate for this proposed senior position has to have the skills to integrate several independently developed and currently incompatible quality systems into a single, coherent system, and retrain the operators, without disrupting the demanding production schedules or undermining the existing certification status.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT - ENGINEERING

Description of Work

• Review and update or modify existing equipment user manuals
• Assist the support crew with customer troubleshooting, ordering and shipping of spare parts
• Assist the engineering department with drawings and project data

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in writing manuals and technical documentation in the field of mechanical or electrical systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Good working knowledge of mechanical / electrical systems & instrumentation
  Strong mechanical aptitude, very hands on and able to work with minimal direction
• Knowledge of industrial controls, instrumentation, etc.
• Knowledge of computers & software including Microsoft Office, Autocad and/or Solidworks.

Language: Written and spoken English and French; additional languages an asset.
